Where will it work
It works wherever a tri-band mobile phone
will work, whichever country!
Check where you
boat is, whilst you are away, holidaying or working or at home, .
The
functions;
You phone it, from a text compatible phone (a
mobile that can send and receive text meassages), the
'Tracker' will send back its current Longitude and Latitude to the designated text phone
(your mobile) in the form of a text message.
Input these co-ordinates into any suitable
software package, Google Earth works wonderfully. This will show the transmitters location. (I.e.

(Download the software it's free)
If you are on the boat, as an emergency
aid, press a button and the location co-ordinates, are transmitted to your pre-designated
mobile phones. (Your partners, friends,
etc)
Security
The 'Tracker' is a self contained unit, the size
of a mobile phone, it's own, internal, battery will last about 4
days.
For continuous, unattended use, the 'Tracker'
should be connected to a continuous supply. The boats domestic batteries for example. If these main batteries fail, the internal one
will run for about 4 days. (The 'Tracker' charger is supplied as standard)
Installation,
you have two choices;
It only needs you to connect two wires, to the boat batteries.
